Next Steps: | TSDS PEIMS coordinators to submit required data by April 5, 2021 |
In order to help inform the legislative process, local education agencies (LEAs) will need to submit 2020-2021 basic attendance data for the first four six-week reporting periods by April 5, 2021. This submission of data is not final and will not impact your foundation funding calculations in any way. Final data for foundation funding purposes will be submitted as usual in the summer timeframe.
Since the basic attendance data will provide information regarding the instructional methods of students in the fourth six-weeks, the March 31st Crisis Code data submission is no longer necessary and has been canceled.
Basic Attendance data will be submitted through the TSDS PEIMS Summer 1 Collection by close of business on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Once the basic attendance data in the PEIMS data mart is ready for TEA use, do not promote basic attendance data again until Monday, April 12, 2021. TEA will be running statewide reports starting April 6, 2021.
Please submit questions regarding the TSDS PEIMS data reporting requirements to the TSDS Incident Management System (TIMS), which is available within the TSDS portal.
